What is a Prefabricated Building?
Prefabricated buildings are any buildings that are manufactured off-site before being installed either in pieces or units. Prefabrication brings a range of benefits, with a quick production process, a reduction in wasted materials, and the ability to reconfigure, add to, or move completed buildings.
We specialise in two main types of prefabricated buildings:
- Portable Buildings – Delivered as a single, ready-to-use unit. Ideal for smaller offices or canteens, they are quick to install and easy to move when required.
- Modular Buildings – Built from multiple units joined together on-site, offering flexible layouts for larger spaces such as offices, housing blocks, and sales suites.
Portable buildings will be assembled off-site as a single standalone unit, and installed on your property. While this brings some limitations in terms of size, there are a variety of options available, and they can be easily moved within a property. Modular buildings are comprised of multiple modular units that will be delivered to a site and attached together. Through modular construction, a huge range of buildings can be produced, from housing blocks to offices.
