What is a Prefabricated Building?
Prefabricated buildings are any buildings that are manufactured off-site before being installed either in pieces or units. Prefabrication brings a range of benefits, with a quick production process, a reduction in wasted materials, and the ability to reconfigure, add to, or move completed buildings. At JCPSA we manufacture both portable and modular buildings, two different types of prefabricated structure.
Portable buildings will be assembled off-site as a single standalone unit, and installed on your property. While this brings some limitations in terms of size, there are a variety of options available, and they can be easily moved within a property. Modular buildings are comprised of multiple modular units that will be delivered to a site and attached together. Through modular construction, a huge range of buildings can be produced, from housing blocks to offices.
