    £30,000 upwards P/A (dependent of skills and experience)

    Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm (45 hours per week)

    Chichester Depot – PO20 1EJ

Purpose of the position

At JCPSA Ltd, we’re expanding our team and looking for an Electrician Assistant to support our electrical projects within our modular building manufacturing and refurbishment operations. This role is ideal for someone with a good foundational knowledge of electrical systems, looking to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities & duties

  • Assist in designing and implementing small electrical installations under supervision.
  • Support the electrical team in routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Help in the installation of wiring systems in modular buildings.
  • Follow electrical codes, safety standards, and procedures.
  • Use and maintain electrical tools and equipment effectively.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Continuously learn and apply new skills in various electrical tasks.
  • Always ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Work experience & skills

  • Good electrical knowledge: full qualification not required.
  • Experience in small electrical installations or a similar role is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent team-working abilities.
  • Conversational level of English is mandatory.
  • A positive, eager-to-learn attitude.
  • Must hold a full driving licence
  • CSCS card is desirable
